A Letter to Our Future Generations

Hi there, Kids!

It’s such a privilege to write to you from this current expression of Ness. My heart is full of love for this life, and for the aliveness that sparks within me, igniting my belly and bones.

I am working hard to understand every corner of my soul, so that one day—when we meet—I can help you from a place of wholeness. A being who knows no bounds, and can help you find your shape if you ever need it.

I haven’t always gotten it right. In fact, I make mistakes often, falling on my face to realise I can rise again and again. With each fall, I choose to learn and grow, to be better in the face of what I once considered failure.

If there’s one thing I want to share with you, it’s this: No matter how far you stray, you are always loved. No matter how dark it may feel, you are never alone. And no matter how scared you might be, you are brave enough and you have what it takes to face it all.

I am proud of every single one of us and the journey we've walked. It is a privilege to do this work, and I now understand what that truly means.

To be of service means complete dedication—to remember our eight billion fellow humans as we walk this path. It means showing compassion, even in the face of our own flaws or the flaws of others. It means learning as we go, and getting back up after we fall. It means never walking past a need that your light and truth could fill.

I am deeply inspired by what you share with this world, and I will do my part to shine beside you.
