Your Laundry Room
Glebe
our Laundry Room is a space that is redefining laundry. The team works to bring together mindfulness, community and custodianship of the planet into this mundane everyday experience.

This business is driven by a mission to think globally and act locally. Through sustainable practices, such as eco-friendly detergents and energy-efficient machines, Your Laundry Room is conscious of its environmental impact while also offering a space where individuals can engage in activities that promote inner and outer well-being.
This space itself reflects this balance of purpose and practicality. Regular community events centered around mindfulness, heartfulness, and environmental action engage the community in inspired action towards positive change.
Two dedicated treatment rooms will soon also offer folks a chance to relax and restore, while a thoughtfully curated tea station provides a moment of comfort and connection. These will be opening and available soon.
In many ways, Your Laundry Room champions a new way of doing business that is centered around people, planet & purpose. It serves as a model of how even the most everyday actions can be transformed into powerful tools for social and environmental impact.
At Your Laundry Room, the mission is simple. To impact the world and the lives of others in a positive way. One wash at a time.

Roomies Art Inc.
Glebe Community Projects
Roomies Arts Inc. was initially started during the Pandemic as a way for local crafters and creatives to create and connect during a period of great uncertainty and isolation.
They operate out of the Old Glebe Fire Station and run a series of initiatives and events that cultivate cultural diversity and inclusion through art, craft and connectivity.
They aim to advance public wellbeing and social cohesion by providing a safe space for members of the community to connect with one another, to showcase their work and to create collaboratively.
It is run and led by dedicated members of the community and individuals who deeply nourish and care for one another.
This is a community group that despite it’s challenges - seeks to create spaces that folks can gather and connect in. In the current social upheaval we are all facing, these spaces are vital.

Create with Ness
Ness is a multidisciplinary artist based on the Land of the Guringai People. Studying Traditional Chinese Medicine, she draws deep inspiration from her profound connection to the land and the natural world surrounding her—the rivers, lakes, and lagoons, as well as the insects and birds that guide and share their wisdom on her journey.

Through her work in creative expression and communal advocacy, Ness aims to bring people back to the present moment, reminding them of the deep truths held by the Earth and the interwoven, intelligent, and alive connection that links all beings—human and non-human alike.

Heart-led change. The power of community in action and advocacy.
Guiding Principles.
These guiding principles are deeply woven into what we do at Create with Gaia. They are guidelines and understandings that we embody and share with all those who align with our work.

Ecological Identity & Environmental Stewardship
We recognise the profound interconnection between human beings and the Earth. Our approach honours the cycles and seasons of nature, integrating them into the ways businesses and communities operate. Through our work, we guide organisations and individuals towards ecological stewardship, encouraging:
• Mindful impact and footprint
• Deep study, attention, and attunement
• Activism and advocacy
• Connection and gratitude
• Sustainable practices in operations, policies, and culture
By integrating these principles into business structures, community initiatives, and personal practices, we help create regenerative models that sustain both people and the planet.
Sangha, Community & Collectivisation
A thriving ecosystem is built on strong relationships. We champion Sangha, a Sanskrit and Pali word meaning “to bring together.” According to Thich Nhat Hanh, a community is a group of people who practise Dharma (life purpose and passion) together to cultivate awareness and meaningful connection.
Community knows no geographical bounds—it is created by those who show up, care, and connect in their own unique ways. Create with Gaia fosters spaces where businesses, individuals, and groups can build collective wisdom and support systems that are nurturing, inclusive, and sustainable.

The Ecosystem Model
We believe that businesses, communities, and individuals function best when modelled on living ecosystems rather than mechanical, growth-at-all-costs systems. In our work, we help co-create and align internal and external systems with nature’s principles, ensuring:
• Resilience and adaptability
• Reciprocity and sustainability
• Deep connection to place and purpose
One of our key frameworks draws inspiration from trees. Just as trees require strong roots, a sturdy trunk, and expansive branches, organisations and communities thrive when their foundations are solid, their core values are deeply embedded, and their initiatives reach outward with impact.
Beyond trees, we also explore natural models such as rivers, mountains, ant colonies, and mycelial networks—each offering profound insights into how we can organise, connect, and grow in alignment with the living world.
The Ripple Effect
Every action we take creates ripples.
In a world that often leaves us feeling powerless, we choose to believe that even the smallest actions can create meaningful change. The ripple effect reminds us that change begins in our own backyards—with the choices we make, the communities we nurture, and the businesses we build.
Through our consultation work, we empower individuals and organisations to become catalysts for positive transformation, fostering solutions that are local in action yet global in impact.

Discernment
In a world filled with distractions, practising discernment is key to navigating our path with clarity and purpose. We guide individuals and organisations in developing the skills to:
• Identify and uphold their core values
• Make decisions rooted in integrity
• Cultivate a strong sense of truth and alignment
When we act from a place of groundedness and gratitude, we strengthen our ability to create businesses and communities that are both ethical and effective.
Reciprocity
At the heart of ecosystem work is reciprocity—the balance of giving and receiving. Many of us have been conditioned to prioritise the needs of others at the expense of our own, or to take without thought for regeneration. True reciprocity teaches us that:
• Giving should come from a place of wholeness and abundance
• Receiving is just as important as offering
• Sustainable relationships—whether with people, nature, or business—depend on mutual care and respect
By embedding reciprocity into business practices, community frameworks, and personal relationships, we help foster systems that are regenerative rather than extractive.
