Hello Fearful Ness

Updated: Jul 30, 2022

I wrote this poem at a park at Central Station while I waited for the train. A perfect time to gestate on a humongous two days of so many integrations and shifts in my personal consciousness and understanding of myself. My own gifts and my personal power of discernment.

This poem speaks to the heart of the Ness within me that is afraid of change and transformation, for the uncertainty that it brings. I hold her and see her.

-

To meet fearfulness and allow her the space to be seen,

to invite and welcome her even when the tide may seem -

too strong to handle - turn away and run?

don't allow missed opportunities and half filled glass lives to permeate the fabric of who you are.

You came here to be a shepherd and a guide, a warrior for peace, a channel for Divine love,

truth and space.

In order to honour yourself - we must honour our fearful ness.

To never be afraid to cross the oceans of distance between us and ourselves.

To build bridges instead of moats and fences.

To truly see, hear and know ourselves and meet our pain.

For it is within this lifetime's work -

we have our whole selves to gain!

fin.
